The Sealed-Air slide is available in either a Leg Supported (LS) or Non Leg Supported (NLS) version.

All slides are custom fitted to your specific yacht. There is no “off the shelf” slide that fits all ships. To determine what version of slide your yacht will need, you need to understand that all of our slides are measured vertically from the top of the handrail (or highest point) the slide will mount over, down to the water line. Once we know this height, we can make a determination of slide version and provide a quote for purchase.

Our LS version is recommended for slides that exceed heights greater than 5 meters. The LS version comes in two pieces, and depending on the final size of the slide you need, stores in a total space of about 1.5CBM. For example, a 9 meter slide will weigh about 250 kg’s. The body weighs about 160 kg’s and the leg sub-structure weighs about 90 kg’s.

Both versions have multiple anchor points on the slide body and legs for lashing lines back to the ship.

Cruiser NLS

This is compulsory for compliance with UK MCA Regulations MSN1768

Yacht Medical Kit fully compliant with current MCA Regulations MSN1768 for any Category of vessel and appropriate for crew and guest complement.

A 12 month Certificate of MCA Compliance is issued with this Medical Kit.

-           Kit contents are as specified by the MCA in Shipping Regulations MSN1768.

-           Medicines exclude anti-malarials.  If required these can be ordered at additional cost.

-           Equipment includes a Vacuum Splint Set and a Thigh Traction Splint – as specified by the MCA.

-           The kit is packed into tough water-resistant Cordura storage bags with colour-coded and labelled removable internal pouches. The bag and pouches have been specifically designed to fit this kit.   The pouches are colour-coded to correspond with the Medical Kit Inventory list that is supplied with the Kit, thus enabling quick product location in an emergency, as well as simple Medical Inventory management.

Why do I need it?

Jason’s Cradle® is designed to retrieve people quickly and horizontally from the water, thus reducing the possibilities of “dry drowning” now more commonly known as Circum Rescue Collapse. The horizontal lift for a MOB has now become critical in the modern marine world and by using the Jason’s Cradle®, not only is this achievable, but it is one of the safest and quickest methods of retrieval for conscious and / or unconscious casualties.

Using Jason’s Cradle® as your preferred man overboard system recovery system allows operators to retrieve casualties who are unable to assist themselves due to injury, or high freeboard.

How do I determine the type & size of Jason’s Cradle® to suit my vessel?

The Standard unit is suitable for most vessels with up to 3m freeboard and is offered in three width options.

The FRC Kit is suitable for all Fast Rescue Craft and is offered in two width options.

The assigned representative will enter the order details into the computer system which then sends the information automatically to our warehouse for the preparation of goods available.

A box will then become allocated for the order marked with a barcoded label indicating which goods have been prepared.

When the goods are prepared in our warehouse the computer system automatically advises the assigned representative a list of items unavailable who then places the orders to the relevant suppliers.

On arrival of the goods outstanding each item receives it ‘s own barcode which is then affixed to the customer’s allocated box and the item is placed together with it’s order.

Once the order is complete a ‘packing list’ is automatically printed and each barcode affixed to the customer’s box is scanned verifying every item ordered is present.

In the event of the order missing goods the system informs the operator and will not close the order unless instructed to do so.

When the order is complete and ready to be shipped we then decide whether to ship by courier or deliver with our own vehicles.

Printed on each and every document is the name of the representative who has followed the order from the very beginning.

The customer can request a user name/password and can follow their order.
